  1. The academic community should set up “story time” - a formal venue for informal chatter - and not just from the usual group of suspects either. Eg as in what got you into your area, what’s your favourite programming language, why this and not that, etc

    Personal, and unrestricted. It’s the people that do the science and not the ideas. We need to understand what makes us passionate - the papers we write do not always offers a glimpse of this.
