1. Logical Beats Sequential

   Often, "we do this and then we do that" is just a lazy way of stating "to do that, we must have achieved this."

   This is an excellent analysis, and although it discusses the business applications context, in so much as high level planning is central to AI, the thrust is very much the same. This is why programming languages like Golog are just so powerful and elegant to describe complex behaviour. I’ve also been very interested in probabilistic extensions that then can be interpreted as a kind of probabilistic program where atomic instructions are stochastic actions.
