No commonsense knowledge base is perfect, and in fact efforts to build such a knowledge base that is complete has been fraught with difficulties and not successful so far.
However, if a system does not have a mechanism to reason about explicit or implicit learned knowledge, that’s the issue worth highlighting. Not having any intention to have common sense as a first class citizen is the problem.
